As such it should have these features: subject matter should be in your specialty/major, structure should be sound, grammar and other mechanics must be flawless. But most importantly, you must start with a unique idea, an ambitious proposition whose very originality makes your work stand out on first reading (what in pop culture is called a “wow” factor).
